Biography

A true cross-over artist, Kristin Titus has appeared on both opera and theatre stages all over the country. Recent credits include Fun Home at the Arden Theatre Company, Broadway Then and Now at Bristol Riverside Theatre, Sister Act at the Walnut Street Theatre, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Alice Beane in Titanic both at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, Housekeeper/Maria in Man of La Mancha with the Princeton Festival, Nightcap Cabaret’s What is Love?…Baby, don’t hurt me (no more) and Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast with Ocean City Theatre Company.

Kristin has performed at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The Kimmel Center, NJ Performing Arts Center, The National Cathedral and with Des Moines Metro Opera, Opera Iowa, Opera MODO, Center City Opera Theater, Da Capo and New York Opera Studio in roles including Mrs. Hayes in Susannah, Mimì in La Bohème, Lady Billows in Albert Herring, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Alice Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff, Strege and Lady M in Verdi’s Macbeth, La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi, Mother/Witch in Hansel und Gretel, Berta in The Barber of Seville, Roselinda in Die Fledermaus, Arabella in Arabella, among others.

Kristin holds a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy graduating from Westminster Choir College with distinction as well as a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance cum laude from the same school. A passionate arts educator, Kristin maintains a vibrant voice studio in South Jersey and Philadelphia where she uses science based vocal techniques paired with creative body work to empower her students to use their most authentic voices.
