Private Lesson Registration Procedures
- To enroll in private lessons please contact Rowan Community Music School for schedule and teacher placement information. You will be placed with a teacher that matches your availability and playing needs on a first-come, first-served basis.

After speaking with the Rowan CMS office staff you will be directed to our online registration and payment website.

A registration fee of $20/semester is assessed to each student.

Summer Semester 2022
- Private lessons are scheduled on an individual basis, and are based on teacher availability and student scheduling preferences. A semester package of 12 lessons, trial and individual lessons are available, there is a 5 lesson minimum quantity requirement for all individual lessons.
- Lessons will open March 1st and can begin as early as registration and payment are made and spring 2022 lessons are completed. All scheduling and lesson details are required to be confirmed by the Rowan CMS Program Manger prior to registration and payment.
- Rowan Community Music School reserves the right to suspend instruction and recital participation for families who do not meet their payment plan obligations.

- Please be advised that registration and payment for all Rowan Community Music School lessons and ensembles will be completed online.
- The Rowan Community Music School offers in person and virtual lessons. Before virtual lessons begin, a video conferencing platform is required to be confirmed by teacher and student: Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, Webex, Google Meet, etc.
- Enrollment is open for the total quantity of lessons confirmed by teacher, student, and CMS staff prior to payment.
- Students must have their own instrument and obtain their own music. All private music instruction requires a placement email/phone call with the Rowan Community Music School Director or Manager to best place a student with an appropriate teacher.
- All lessons paid for within a specific semester and/or full year are required to be used within the paid semester or full year. No lessons may be rolled over to or taken in any future semester or year.

- It is required that lesson registration and tuition are paid at least 48 hours prior to the first lesson.
- Payments must be made according to the 12 Semester Package lesson information on the Marketplace website. The Semester Package will not be available after June 15, 2022.
- Payments for individual lessons are allowed throughout the summer semester (5 lesson minimum quantity requirement and dates confirmed with the Rowan Community Music School Manager prior to payment).
- Trial and Individual lessons are non-refundable.
- A late fee of $15 will be assessed for each late payment.
- Paid trial lessons are available for prospective students only.
- All lessons paid for within a specific semester and/or full year are required to be used within the paid semester or full year. No lessons may be rolled over to or taken in any future semester or year.
- All individual lessons are required to set and confirm lesson dates prior to payment.
- Discounts available:
- Only one discount permitted per student per semester.
- There are many variations of discounts. Please contact Rowan Community Music School before you begin registration or purchase lessons in order to receive your maximum discount!
- Rowan Employees and students are required to use their Rowan e-mail address to to login to take advantage of the discounts.
- All discounts will be reflected at checkout.
- Note: To receive the 10% discount for multi sibling discounts, all student registrations and payments are required to be in the Rowan Marketplace cart before check out. No refunds will be given for discounts if check out occurred without the registrations and payments in the cart at the time of initial payment.
- All payments received after the June 14, 2022 deadline will be assessed a late fee of $15. Please be advised all payments received after June 14, 2022 will not be eligible for any discounts.
- Registration fees for the Summer 2022 semester (12 lesson semester package) private lessons are waived if paid in full by June 14, 2022.
