Spring Dance Showcase

The Rowan University Dance faculty and students traditionally present a Spring Showcase of Dance performances in Tohill Theatre on the last Friday of the semester. Due to the remote/online circumstances of the second half of the Spring 2020 semester, the dancers are live streaming two events featuring video recordings of work that initially started in person as part of several courses. The work continued once we left campus and recordings happened in living rooms, basements, garages, and backyards.

On Friday, May 1st, the dance faculty and students working in Dance Improvisation II, Fundamentals of Modern Dance, Advanced Styles in Modern Dance, Elements of Dance, Choreography, and Senior Projects shared their efforts in two live streaming showcases. The work was all pre-recorded but Leslie Bush, a member of the dance faculty, hosted the events live.
