George throws in a nice mix of fundamental building blocks and fun songs for Gavin to practice, breaking song down into parts to make them easier to learn. I have been in RYO since I was a freshman in high school. During this time, I also started taking private lessons with Ms. Hasheian. I can honestly say that I have gotten stronger as a violinist because of what I learned in RYO and with Ms. Hasheian. Now, I’m a junior in high school and RYO’s concertmaster! Participating in RYO and taking lessons with Ms. Hasheian are truly memorable experiences.

When I began taking lessons with Professor Huffstodt, my confidence was rather low. I failed the most important audition of my life and never took private lessons before. In my time with the Rowan Community Music School, Professor Huffstodt was always so helpful and caring. She was always positive, which helped me to find confidence in my voice and myself overall. She helped me to gain a better tone, stronger support, and a larger range. This led me to re-audition for Rowan, and I was successful! As a sophomore music education major at Rowan University, I continue to study with Professor Huffstodt. She knows exactly how to help my voice and what will sound the best, all while being kind and personable.

"My daughter Sofia (age 10) has been taking piano lessons with Bryan O'Lone at the Rowan Community Music School. I am so impressed by Bryan's passion, love of music and his unique way of teaching the piano. His teaching method is encouraging, instructive and fun. I first started taking voice lessons during the Summer 2020 semester at Rowan Community Music School with Mr. Hochstuhl. Although having no prior experience with taking voice lessons, he made it easy to jump right in and kept our lessons focused and made the most of all our time working together. Through our lessons, he guided me to making so much progress in becoming a more balanced performer, and helped work on and complete many of the goals I had set for myself. Because of this, I look forward to working with Mr. Hochstuhl and Rowan Community Music School for the foreseeable future! ​
