Fall, Spring & Full Year Lessons
Private lessons are scheduled on an individual basis and are based on teacher availability and student scheduling preferences. Students enrolled in private lessons will have the opportunity to perform in recitals during Fall & Spring Semesters and attend select Rowan University Music Department events for free. Trial and Individual lessons are available. The Rowan Community Music School does not offer free Trial lessons.

- The Rowan Community Music School offers in person and virtual lessons. Before virtual lessons begin, a video conferencing platform is required to be confirmed by teacher and student: Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, Webex, Google Meet, etc.
- Please be advised that registration and payment for all Rowan Community Music School lessons is required to be completed online.
- Students must have their own instrument and obtain their own music.
- All private music instruction requires a placement email or phone call/zoom meeting with the Rowan Community Music School Lesson Coordinator to best place a student with an appropriate teacher.
- All lessons paid for within a specific semester and/or full year are required to be used within the paid semester or full year. No lessons may be rolled over to or taken in any future semester or year.
- All individual lessons are required to set and confirm lesson dates prior to payment.
- Rowan Community Music School reserves the right to suspend instruction and recital participation for families who do not meet their payment plan obligations.
- Please be advised that we reserve the right to change the format of offerings without notice based on the Federal, State and Local guidelines related to the COVID-19 global health pandemic.
- It is required that lesson registration and tuition are paid at least 48 hours prior to the first lesson.
- Payments must be made according to the Marketplace payment schedule.
- Payments for all lessons are required to be paid at least 48 hours prior to your first scheduled lesson no later than September 13, 2024 for full year and Fall 2024 semester and no later than January 3, 2025 for the Spring 2025 semester. All payments received after those deadlines will be assessed a late fee of $25. Please be advised all payments received after those deadlines will not be eligible for any discounts.
- A late fee of $25 will be assessed for each late payment, including payment plans.
- Individual lessons are available by quantity. A minimum of 5 lessons must be purchased.
- Trial and Individual lessons are non-refundable.
- Paid trial lessons are available for prospective students only.
- Enrollment is based on a 15-week semester during the Fall 2024 semester and 19-week semester during the Spring 2025 semester.
- Enrollment is based on a 34-week year for 2024-2025.

- Fall 2024 Semester Recital Date: December 14, 2024
- Spring 2025 Semester Recital Dates: May 3, 2025
