Parking
Free parking is available in Parking Lot C for Rowan Community Music School families and students when ensembles, classes, and lessons are in-person. If you prefer, a parking permit is available to purchase through Rowan Parking Services that will allow you to park in any parking lot. Rowan Community Music School is not responsible for any parking ticket issued outside of Lot C. Please note that appeals must be filed no later than ten (10) days after the citation is issued.
Communication
Once teacher placement is set, we ask that you exchange pertinent contact information in case of last minute cancellations or emergencies. It is best to contact your teacher directly, rather than leaving a message with the Rowan Community Music School office, though the Rowan CMS staff will assist if contact cannot be made. At times the Rowan CMS office will notify students with pertinent information via e-mail. Please be sure to inform the Office of your primary e-mail address and be sure to check all inbox folders in your email account. Be sure to join the Rowan CMS Remind for all updates as well. Emergency closing procedures
Emergency closings will be listed on Rowan's homepage at www.rowan.edu, as well as our Rowan CMS website and on Facebook and Instagram. Please know that Rowan CMS follows Rowan University emergency/closing procedures. In instances of severe weather, the Rowan Community Music School reserves the right to cancel classes, rehearsals, professional developments, masterclasses, and private lessons. The staff at Rowan CMS encourages you to join the Rowan Text Alert to receive prompt updates on delays and cancellations.
Cancellations
Rowan CMS reserves the right to cancel any courses, classes, workshops, and ensembles that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements. Please be advised that we reserve the right to change the format of offerings without notice based on the Federal, State and Local guidelines related to the COVID-19 global health pandemic.
