Our Digital Audio Workspace (DAW) Classes
- In this class, you will learn the basics of Digital Audio Workstations, understand the similarities and differences across all DAW’s and how to quickly pick up a new one through mutual terminology. Learn how to record audio into a DAW (guitar/vocals/synthesizer/etc.) and how to record MIDI sections (drum tracks/piano tracks/synth tracks/etc.). Feel confident that you can record your basic ideas. This class runs in the fall and spring.

Dates: 9/10/2022 - 12/10/2022
When: Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Where: Wilson Hall, Recording Studio 108
Tuition: $325
- In this class, you will build upon what you learned in DAW 1 learning to mix productions, mix vocals, build upon creative ideas, and using the DAW as not just a technical tool, but a musical instrument. Further topics that will be covered: mastering for streaming/digital release, basics of music publishing, writing to picture, and more.
- Quality over the ear headphones are strongly recommended.
- Please email the Rowan CMS office for the required culminating project for DAW 1 to enter DAW 2.

Tuition: $325
- Quality over the ear headphones are strongly recommended for all DAW classes.
- A payment plan option is also available for full year participation. All students are required to make tuition payments through the Marketplace online system. Credit Card, Check, or Money Order (NO CASH) officially.
- Classes are scheduled to take place in person at Rowan University.
