15th Annual Tenor|Bass Festival - October 16, 2024
The Tenor|Bass Festival brings together hundreds of high school tenors and basses from three states for a day of uplifting voices, breaking barriers, celebrating the gift of singing and united through music.
Registration: Music educators are invited to register their student(s). Sign ups will open on June 4. Please ensure you've signed up for our Music Educators Mailing List to recieve the link to register.
Single Reed Day- October 20, 2024
Rowan welcomes clairnet and saxophone players for an exciting day of clinics, master classes, and performances. Open to students in 8th grade and above, music educators, professional performers and community members.

Shadow Day - November 4, 2024
Experience life as a Rowan student! Join us to attend classes, connect with students, meet faculty and learn more about Music at Rowan! Open to high school students, especially juniors and seniors.

Flute Clinic- November 17, 2024
Flute faculty, Dr. Susanna Loewy, invites middle and high school flutists to explore new techniques, repertoire, and ideas in sessions, chamber music groups, and a flute choir.

WindFest 2024 - December 3, 2024
The Rowan University WindFest Honor Band is an intensive experience for select high school musicians from throughout NJ, PA, DE & NY. Participants will enjoy challenging repertoire and exciting rehearsals, working alongside Rowan's world-class faculty and exceptional university students in performance and masterclass settings.The event concludes with a concert in Pfleeger Concert Hall featuring the WindFest Honor Band alongside the Rowan University Wind Ensemble. Nominate your students for the WindFest Honor Band.

Rowan Honor Orchestra - December 5, 2024
Music educators -- nominate your high school string players to play in the Rowan University Honor Orchestra! Nominees will join us for a day of thrilling music-making and perform with the Rowan University Symphony Orchestra in Pfleeger Concert Hall for family and friends.

Middle School Tenor|Bass Festival - January 15, 2025
Registration: Registration opens June 6. Please indicate if you are a current member of SJCDA
Double Reed Day- January 26, 2025
Rowan University’s double reed faculty, Marie Trudeau and Zachary Feingold invite double reed players to learn about reed-making, developing a career in music, college auditions, instrument repair, and more. Open to musicians in 6th grade and older, music educators, professional performers, and community members.

Viola Day- February 1, 2025
Violin players and teachers, join ASTNJ and Rowan University for Violin Day at Rowan! Open to high school and college students, music educators, professional performers and community members, we invite you to spend the day at Rowan connecting, learning, and playing violin with special guests (TBA).

String Ensemble Concerto Competition- February 2, 2025
Musicians, join us for the Rowan University String Ensemble Concerto Competition! Open to college music majors and pre-college students, we invite you to compete for an opportunity to play a concerto with the Rowan University String Ensemble.

Jazz Festival - February 13-15, 2025

Bass Hang- February 22, 2025
String bass players, join Professor Douglas Mapp for Rowan University’s Bass Hang and spend a day hanging out and working on playing and learning the string bass! The hang is open to all bassists aged 10-18

String Festival - March 3-4, 2025
Rowan University welcomes middle and high school string ensembles for an exciting day of clinics, sessions, master classes, and performances! Adjudicators will choose one ensemble to play in a side-by-side concert with the Rowan University Symphony Orchestra.

Mid-Atlantic Regional College Auditions South (MARCAS) - November 15, 2024
The MARCAS draw students in grades 11+ from the region to audition for 50+ recruiters representing theatre and dance programs from colleges across the country.
