Tenor|Bass Festival - October 15, 2025
The Tenor|Bass Festival brings together hundreds of high school tenors and basses from three states for a day of uplifting voices, breaking barriers, celebrating the gift of singing and uniting through music.

Single Reed Day - October 19, 2025
Rowan welcomes clarinet and saxophone players for an exciting day of clinics, master classes, and performances. Open to students in 8th grade and above, music educators, professional performers and community members.

Flute Clinic - November 23, 2025
Flute faculty, Dr. Susanna Loewy, invites middle and high school flutists to explore new techniques, repertoire, and ideas in sessions, chamber music groups, and a flute choir.

WindFest 2025 - December 2, 2025
The Rowan University WindFest Honor Band is an intensive experience for select high school musicians from throughout NJ, PA, DE & NY. Participants will enjoy challenging repertoire and exciting rehearsals, working alongside Rowan's world-class faculty and exceptional university students in performance and masterclass settings.The event concludes with a concert in Pfleeger Concert Hall featuring the WindFest Honor Band.

Rowan Honor Orchestra - December 4, 2025
The Rowan University Honor Orchestra offers a high quality full symphonic orchestra experience to high school musicians from NJ, PA, DE and NY. Students will have the opportunity to work with Rowan’s distinguished faculty and rehearse side-by-side with the Rowan University Symphony Orchestra in an immersive, one-day event, culminating in an exhilarating evening concert.

Youth Brass Day - December 14, 2025
Youth Brass Day is the kick-off event for Rowan Atlantic Youth Brass Band. A free-of-charge day of brass band instruction to children in grades 7-12 will conclude with a mini-concert including Atlantic Brass Band at 5pm.

Middle School Tenor|Bass Festival - January 14, 2026
We are thrilled to invite members of SJCDA to the First Annual Rowan University Middle School Tenor|Bass Festival! Join us to uplift voices, break barriers, celebrate the gift of singing, and unite through music. We are excited to welcome SJCDA members to this new festival!

Musicians, join us for the Rowan University String Ensemble Concerto Competition! Open to college music majors and pre-college students, we invite you to compete for an opportunity to play a concerto with the Rowan University String Ensemble.

56th Annual Rowan University Jazz Festival - February 11-13, 2026
Hosted by Rowan's Maynard Ferguson Institute of Jazz Studies, the festival welcomes middle and high school bands from around the region for adjudication sessions, clinics, and performances.

String Day - February 14, 2026
Strings players and teachers, join ASTNJ and Rowan University for String Day at Rowan! Open to high school and college students, music educators, professional performers, and community members, we invite you to spend the day at Rowan connecting, learning, and playing string instruments.

Bass Hang - February 21, 2026
String bass players, join us for Rowan University’s Bass Hang and spend a day hanging out and working on playing and learning the string bass! Open to all bassists aged 10-18, we invite you to attend sessions that focus on basic to advanced technique, solo playing, ensemble playing, jazz bass line creation, auditioning, practice strategies. The day also includes a solo master class, an orchestra excerpt class, and a concert featuring participants, Rowan Students, and Rowan Bass Professor Douglas Mapp.

Double Reed Day - March 1, 2026
Rowan University’s double reed faculty, Marie Trudeau and Zachary Feingold invite double reed players to learn about reed-making, developing a career in music, college auditions, instrument repair, and more. Open to musicians in 6th grade and older, music educators, professional performers, and community members.

Rowan String Festival - March 2-3, 2026
Rowan University welcomes middle and high school string ensembles for an exciting day of clinics, sessions, master classes, and performances! Adjudicators will choose one ensemble to play in a side-by-side concert with the Rowan University Symphony Orchestra.

Mid-Atlantic Regional College Auditions South (MARCAS) - November 14-15, 2025
MARCAs draw students in grades 11+ from the region to audition for 50+ recruiters representing theatre and dance programs from colleges across the country.
