Welcome to Rowan University’s College of the Arts!
As you may have heard, several academic programs and colleges were realigned and renamed to better reflect their evolving missions. Effective August 1, 2025, the College of Performing Arts became Rowan University’s College of the Arts
In the coming weeks, our websites and social media will be updated to reflect these changes. In the meantime, this page is your go-to resource for the latest information.
Who We Are
Rowan University’s College of the Arts brings together students, faculty, and community partners to inspire creativity and collaboration across the arts.
What We Offer
Our college is home to three academic departments:

FAQ
What majors are part of the new colleges?
Students majoring in Art, Studio Art, Art Education, Music, Theatre, Dance, and Music Industry will now be part of the new College of the Arts.
All other majors currently in the Ric Edelman College of Communication & Creative Arts will become part of the new Edelman College of Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences, along with programs from the current College of Humanities & Social Sciences.
