Music Technology & Business Camp
Music Technology & Business Camp
Rowan Music Technology & Music Business Camp
Led by program faculty and current Music Industry students, this program offers campers a hands-on learning experience on key aspects of music technology and the music industry. Campers do not have to be musicians to attend! With special topic sections like songwriting and DJ-ing, any student interested in gaining practical knowledge and skills in both music technology and business will benefit from this camp.
All campers complete both individual and group projects and will have a chance to present their work and receive feedback for improvement and support from faculty and fellow campers (a great piece for college applications!) By the end of the week, campers will have enough knowledge to be able to continue independently and expand their work for their portfolios.
Topics covered during camp include:
- Audio Recording
- Mixing
- MIDI Sequencing
- Mastering
- Songwriting and Arranging
- Music Industry Overview
- Record Deals
- Music Publishing
- Music Marketing
All campers should bring their own over-the-ear headphones to camp. We recommend the Monoprice, Sennheiser or Audio-Technica (all available on Amazon).
