• I’m a new student. Where do I get my schedule? 

• • • Visit My Rowan at my.rowan.edu and log in with your Rowan NetID. Click “View My Course Schedule” 
    • If you have questions about your schedule, contact your advisor

• Can I double major in music/theatre/dance? 

• • • The first step for any student interested in pursuing a major in music/theatre/dance is the audition. If you are interested in any of our degree programs, it is best to sign up for an audition/submit your portfolio ASAP. Pending audition results, our advisors can assist further. • How can I add a minor in music/theatre/dance? 

• • For music, email music@rowan.edu to request an audition for the minor. The music minor takes a minimum of 2 years to complete. 
  • For dance, a student should take “Elements of Dance” and the course will serve as their audition. At the end of the semester, the student should ask their professor to recommend them for the minor 
  • For theatre, a student must enroll in “Experiencing Acting” and the course will serve as their audition. At the end of the semester, the student should ask their professor to recommend them for the minor 

• I am a music/theatre/dance minor but I don’t see any classes on my schedule. 

• • • If you are a first-year student, that’s okay! Typically minor classes would be added to your schedule after completing your first semester. It’s best to check in with your advisor to make sure. 

• What clubs can I get involved in? 

• • • There are plenty of student-run clubs and organizations out of CPA, open to all students. Visit CPA Clubs and Organizations for a full list or search via ProfLink 

• Do you offer music lessons? 

• • If you’re interested in taking music lessons, our Community Music School offers individual lessons to students of all ages and experience levels. Email rowancommunitymusicschool@rowan.edu or visit cpa.rowan.edu/rowancommunitymusicschool for more information!
