Biography

Stephen Cirino is a multifaceted professional whose career seamlessly blends academia, industry leadership, and entrepreneurial success. At the University of the Arts, where he taught for seven years in the Music Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology program, Stephen specialized in Digital Distribution, Licensing and Publishing, and Artist Management. His innovative contributions include launching the enhanced UArts Radio platform, further solidifying his reputation as a forward-thinking educator. His excellence in teaching was recognized with the President's Distinguished Teaching Award in 2021.

Before his academic tenure, Stephen spent over seven years at Sony Music Entertainment/Red Distribution, where he played a pivotal role as a digital and physical distribution specialist, helping to release platinum and gold records for bands such as Alabama Shakes and Awolnation. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his founding of Future Management, a company responsible for releasing eight Billboard-charting albums. His deep industry knowledge has been showcased on platforms like CNBC,  where he has offered expert commentary on the rise of Spotify, further demonstrating his influence and expertise in the music industry.
