Biography

Samantha Cunningham spends most of her time teaching elementary instrumental and general music in the Galloway Township Public Schools. Her musical philosophy revolves around Music Learning Theory and its effectiveness in an instrumental setting. In addition to her work with elementary students, she is also a Level One Certified Music Together teacher for Enchanted Music Together in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She teaches infants and young children from birth through age five a weekly interactive family music making experience. Samantha also regularly volunteers for Music For All, a musical nonprofit based in Indianapolis, Indiana whose mission is to provide life changing experiences for all students through scholastic music programs. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Rowan University and went on to earn her Master of Music degree in Music Education from Temple University. She currently lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Owen, and her son, Rory. She teaches the course Music and the Child.
