Biography
Matthew Gould is a freelance trombone player/teacher in the Greater Philadelphia area. As a performer, he has appeared with the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, The Philly POPS!, The Walnut Street Theater, and many others. As a teacher, Matthew is on faculty at Drexel University, where he teacher low brass lessons. In 2017, he appeared as guest soloist with the Drexel Concert Band in a performance of John Mackey's Harvest Concerto. Matthew is also a certified public school music teacher, and served as the instrumental music teacher at Log College Middle School in Warminster, PA for the 2016-2017 school year. He has a B.M. in Music Education from The College of New Jersey, where he was a student of Robert Gale,
and a M.M in Music Performance from Temple University,
where he was a student of Matthew Vaughn.
