Biography

Jamie Grace-Duff (she/her) has been exploring the fabric of stories and the process of making for over thirty years. Her skills have been honed in classes and universities, earning her BS in Fashion Design from Drexel University and MFA in Costume Design and Technology from Temple University. She has worked for William Ivey Long (NY), Jennifer Love Costumes (NY), Barter Theater (VA), Centerstage (MD), Mass MoCA (MA), and Swine Palace (LA). Within the Philadelphia region, she has worked with The Barnes Foundation, The Fabric Workshop and Museum, EgoPo Productions, Azuka Theater, Dawn Marie Bazemore's #dbdanceproject, Maukingbird Theater, and many others as a technician, collaborator, or costume designer. Her passion for teaching was discovered while working for The Handwork Studio, a children's handwork summer program. Her work continues to combine research, craftsmanship, and storytelling.​
