Biography
Adam Haggar is a producer, mastering engineer, songwriter, musician, and educator who has worked in nearly every aspect of contemporary music. He is the owner and chief engineer of Mount Olympia Mastering, a world-class analog mastering studio in NJ providing remote audio services to 500+ clients in 175 cities around the world. He’s sponsored by Audeze Planar Magnetic Headphones, and has mastering clients that produce records for PJ Harvey, Britney Spears, Ane Brun, Migos, Childish Gambino, and more.
His other studio engineering credits include The Scissor Sisters 2006 hit LP, “Ta-Dah” ft. Elton John, and the Beatles “Across The Universe” Film Soundtrack by Julie Taymor. He recently mastered the Rob Ellis-produced (of PJ Harvey and Bat For Lashes fame) debut record for UK band, Blue Violet.
Adam has 20 years of audio engineering experience. He got his start tracking and mixing punk rock records to 2-inch tape at Big Blue Meenie Studios in Jersey City, where he was mentored by a notorious and renowned audio engineer widely known as Slipperman.
These legacy studio engineering chops eventually merged with contemporary electronic music production as he was brought on to innovate and teach mixing & mastering at Icon Collective, the premier school for electronic dance music in Los Angeles.
Adam has mastered projects for Migos, Ancestors, Good Talk, Supertask, Robert Francis + The End Times, Brent Arnold, and many more, in addition to writing several EP’s of his own original songs under the name Stars Don’t Sleep.
