Biography

Pianist Edward McKeown is an active performer and teacher in the Greater Philadelphia area. Based in South Jersey, he began his piano studies in high school with Rowan alumni Chris Tumminia and Daniel McGarry. Currently, Mr. McKeown is a master's degree candidate at Rowan, studying with Professor Veda Zuponcic, under whom he also completed his undergraduate degree. Mr. McKeown can be heard frequently as an accompanist for ensembles and soloists, both vocal and instrumental. Mr. McKeown serves as Music Director of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Willingboro, New Jersey, and also performs in various pit orchestras throughout the area. In his free time, Mr. McKeown enjoys studying music history and the music theory involved in all genres of music.
