Biography

Gail Priest is an educator, author, playwright, actor, and director. She earned her Masters of Education in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and her Bachelors of Arts in Theatre at Rowan University. Her women’s fiction novels, The Annie Crow Knoll Trilogy, were published by Hayson Publishing. Her play Eva's Piano was produced at the Dayton Playhouse in their 2000 New Play Festival. The play also received a staged reading at the Theatre at St. Clements in NYC. The Church Hill Theatre in Church Hill, Maryland staged a reading of her play A Thing with Feathers. As a professional actor, Gail has performed in several regional and summer stock theatres. She has directed at the Brick Playhouse, Theatre Studio, Inc., Ritz Theatre, Gloucester County Institute of Technology, and for Out Reach Arts, Inc. Gail has many years of experience teaching at the secondary and postsecondary levels and as a private acting coach. She is currently writing her fourth novel and a collection of short stories.
