Biography

Dr. Nancy Rawlins, organist, pianist, choral director, and arranger, teaches music theory, choral arranging, and organ at Rowan University.

She earned the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Combs College of Music, Master of Music at Westminster Choir College, and Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Rowan University.

Her performance credits include solo recitals and ensemble performances in over 150 churches, cathedrals, and concert halls throughout the region, including the Kimmel Center, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center, and also a concert tour in Italy with a traditional jazz band.

She has been Organist and Director of Music at several churches in the South Jersey area, and a number of her choral arrangements have been published (Augsburg) and performed by groups across the country.
