Sarah is a 2021 graduate of Rowan University with a BM in Music Education, voice concentration. A gifted teacher and musician, Sarah has been an avid performer and private instructor in the South Jersey area for the past four years. During Sarah’s undergraduate experience, she taught K-5 music in the Vineland school district as well as 9-12 chorus and general music in the Northern Burlington Regional district. Beginning in 2018, Sarah has been the head private music instructor at Dance Incorporated in Sicklerville, NJ, teaching beginner piano and voice to students aged 3 to adult. Sarah is also the vocal music director at Woodbury Heights Presbyterian Church.

As a performer, Sarah has sung as regular soprano soloist with the Rowan University Concert Choir and Voces Ensemble, as well as many churches of varying faith traditions across the tri-state area. Sarah has also sung lead roles in Rowan Opera company productions including “Fiordiligi” in Cosi fan Tutte and “Serpina” in La serva padrona.

Sarah is FAME certified as of May 2021, and is so thrilled to put her passion for early childhood music education to work in the First Steps in Music classes. Sarah firmly believes in the importance of musical exposure and play from the youngest of ages, with the hopes of planting the seeds of musical aptitude and lifelong, joyful music making for all children! She looks forward to working with parents and families to facilitate musical opportunities that can be accessed inside and outside of the First Steps classroom.
