Biography
Michael Worden is an accomplished music industry professional with over a decade of experience in business affairs, licensing, and royalties management. As the Manager of Business Affairs at Alfred Music Publishing since 2010, he has played a pivotal role in the administration of licensing agreements for a wide array of prestigious music catalogs, including those of ABKCO, Warner-Chappell, and Warner Bros. Discovery. Michael's expertise in licensing and rights management is underscored by his successful negotiation and execution of print, mechanical, and synchronization licenses, as well as his contributions to live performance rights coordination.
In addition to his role at Alfred Music/MakeMusic, Michael has also served as a Music Supervisor and Composer at Clear Music since 2014, where he has managed music supervision for numerous film, theater, and podcasts. His work includes handling synchronization and master clearance, coordinating recording sessions, and overseeing the financial aspects of music supervision projects.
Michael Worden holds a Master of Arts from Union Institute & University, a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Oneonta State University and is currently pursuing his Executive MBA at Rutgers University, with a focus on financial management and data analytics.
