Brian Gilmore

A native of New Jersey, pianist Brian Gilmore earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance under Veda Zuponcic at Rowan University and Amanda Penick at the University of Alabama and has since devoted himself to chamber music. As a professor at Ocean County College, Mr. Gilmore coordinates the applied music program, has revitalized the afternoon recital series, and often collaborates with faculty, students, and area musicians to make classical music more present within the community.  He has won awards in the NJMTA Young Artists Competition, Artists International Competition(NY), and the International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition (Boston).
