Alexander Lo
Alexander Lo, 24, is pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music, where he also completed his previous education (B.M. ‘17, M.M. ‘19).
From Washington Township, New Jersey, Alex owes much of his musical development to Professor Natalya Antonova, with whom he currently studies, and Professor Veda Zuponcic of Rowan University, his mentor throughout high school. Most recently, he competed as a finalist in the 2019 Chautauqua Piano Competition and the MTNA National Young Artist Competition. He was also awarded 2nd Place at the 2016 Thousand Islands International Piano Competition.
In addition to teaching both Class Piano and Secondary Piano lessons at Eastman, Alex holds a Resident Advisor position in the Student Living Center and previously served as its Assistant Head Resident. He was inducted into Eastman’s chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda in 2017.College of the Arts
