Sara Leila Sherman received her MM from Manhattan School of Music and BM from Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University. She has established a presence on the classical music scene in her home city of New York and beyond. An accomplished pianist whose playing The Epoch Times has called “deeply satisfying, fresh, and insightful.”
Sara has studied with Jeffrey Cohen, Luba Edlina-Dubinsky and Veda Zuponcic.
Most recently, Sara is the creator and co-founder of a popular concert series for children and families, Mozart for Munchkins. Now in its second season, the series has presented over 200 concerts in Boston, San Francisco, and NYC where they are a proud partner of Lincoln Center.
Sara performs regularly both as a solo artist and in chamber ensembles. In New York, she has taken the stage at Lincoln Center, Steinway Hall, Yamaha Artist Salon, Center for Fiction, The Living Room, and many other venues large and small.
