Biography
Residing in Williamstown, New Jersey. Zachary L. Gormley is a percussion faculty for Rowan Community Music School. As a previous student of the Rowan Community Music School (formerly Rowan Prep), he understands the importance and impact the Rowan Community Music School can have on students of all ages. He is a schooled percussionist and has obtained an Associates Degree in the Arts from Camden County College. While currently finishing his music education degree at Rowan, Zach studies under Dr. Fabio Oliveira.
Performing work Experience:
Zach was employed by the Philadelphia Eagles drumline from 2016-2020. He has also had the privilege to serve as a percussionist for Atlantic brass band for a session competing in NABBA. He currently plays for Larry Mckenna’s Mount Gretna Concert series, and various ensembles. Zach is frequently employed as a drummer for the Atlantic city casinos and shore point/ philly area restaurants.
Education experience:
Zach has teched for drumlines in both indoor and outdoor marching band programs for various south jersey schools. He was a substitute drum set teacher for Old Town Music. Zach instructed congas and drum set as a private lesson instructor at Camden County College.
