Biography

Born in Colombia, South America, Stefania graduated from the National University of Colombia in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance. In 2024 she graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Musical Education - Instrumental, majoring in Violin and minoring in Viola under Dr. Timothy Schwarz. Stefania was selected as the winner the 2022 Rowan String Ensemble Competition, and the winner the Rowan University Orchestra Concerto Competition 2022-2023 and held the role as the ConcertMaster in the Rowan Symphony Orchestra. She has experience as a violin and viola teacher for more than 5 years teaching various levels. She has been part of the Music School of Delaware as a violin/viola teaching artist. She is currently on faculty teaching violin and viola at Play On Philly, Guitar Guild and Rowan Community Music School. Additionally, she has completed musical pedagogy workshops such as the Rolland String Pedagogy technique and Vaisnava Academy, the Educational Institute of the Vrindavan Institute for Vaishnava Culture and Studies (Musical Teaching and alternative methodologies).
