Lab Theatre
Have you ever wanted to direct your own show? Or take that one-act play you've been writing and working on for years and put it up on its feet? Maybe you're curious to see how lights are designed and costumes are made, or what exactly it is that a stage manager does. Are you looking for a fun, safe, and educational environment to explore all of this and more?
Rowan Lab Theatre is at its core a practical learning environment for students to explore all aspects of theatre production. Our theatre company acts as a facilitator for theatrical development, allowing students to explore any of the following areas (and more):
- Costume design
- Lighting design
- Stage management
- Performance
- Directing
- Devising
Alpha Psi Omega (Theatre Honors)
The Rho Nu Chapter at Rowan University of the National Theatre Honor Society, Alpha Psi Omega, recognizes members of Rowan's Theatre and Dance Department who exhibit high levels of achievement theatrically and academically. Members strive to use their talents and abilities to benefit the department, the university, and the community, through performances and service projects. We are committed to building relationships between the Theatre and Dance Department, as well as with other groups on campus and in the surrounding community. Through service and outreach, our members will be using their skills and talents to help better the Rowan and Glassboro Communities.
United States Institute of Theatre Technology
As the Rowan University Student Chapter of USITT, we will work towards improving the quality of technical theatre and design within the Department of Theatre and Dance along with offering opportunities and knowledge not only for students pursuing technical theatre and design but also for those simply with the interest in it.
Music
American Choral Directors Association
The Rowan American Choral Directors Association's mission is to create opportunities for students to learn more about an array of different choral techniques and aspects that will enrich and supplement their education. This includes fundraising, holding events and activities that either interest or inform members, and bringing in presenters from on and off-campus to hold workshops and masterclasses. Our goal is to allow everyone to learn about and experience choral music while acquiring various choral directing skills.
Composers' Collective
The Composers’ Collective mission is to create an environment dedicated to student collaboration, learning, and discussion surrounding all aspects of music composition. Composers’ Collective aims to aid in student learning, and promote active student participation within the contemporary music field. All majors are welcome.

Profecy A Cappella
The word "prophecy" can be defined as a "divinely inspired utterance or revelation". We believe that through a cappella music we will create our own prophecy here at Rowan that can help us connect with audiences. We are a Tenor/Bass group that specializes in performing contemporary music a cappella style.
We aim to entertain all audiences and inspire the Rowan community with our music.

Rowan Alternative Music
Rowan Alternative Music is an organization on campus for those who love music. We have two mission goals:
A) Nurture the local music scene in Rowan, Glassboro, and the surrounding area.
B) Create a group where people can share, talk about, and simply enjoy music.
We welcome all new members; you don't have to play an instrument, just have a passion for music. We also do not limit ourselves to alternative music (as broad a category as that is). All music tastes are welcome here.

Rowan Vocals A Cappella
Rowan Vocals is an audition-based, co-ed, pop a cappella group. Our goal is to spread the excitement of music on and off campus. We compete in the ICCA's (International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella) annually against other a cappella groups across the nation. We aim to be a presence on campus by performing at many different events.
We believe that we represent not only Rowan's music culture but also the diverse student life.
